Laurie has always said that my mind works in a “slightly different” way… I think that’s a compliment, but one can never be too sure…
If you really want to know the process, I offer the following:
I wanted to do a riff on Torchwood: Children of Earth introducing the News Guy’s girlfriend Jane’s parents. I then thought of all the hands and feet that would be required for the introductory strip (the commercial). I then panicked at the concept at which point I thought about my figure doll and how useless it was for drawing hands… and voila!
