For those who’ve never heard of the Page 100 Project, you can find the details here. I, of course, immediately thought of one of my favorite books, Immunology: Understanding the Immune System by Klaus D. Elgert. Imagine my surprise, though, when I opened to page 100 and found the biological imperative that forms the basis of the beliefs held by the anti-gay marriage crowd. I was shocked to say the least…
Seriously though, I do plan on doing some Page 100s for the fun of it and the drawing practice… Anyone else feel like doing a page?
Dear Miss California,
The next time someone asks you if you support gay marriage, please be aware that there are really only two acceptable answers:
- Yes, I support gay marriage -or-
- No, I do not support gay marriage.
This is America, the land of free speech and freer ideals. You are entitled to believe whatever you believe, but when someone asks you a simple question, please don’t try and cloud the issue by twisting the lingo. I mean really, "opposite marriage"?!? That’s more of a cop out than saying all you want is world peace!
