Happy Halloween, everyone. I wasn’t sure how the News Guy was going to improve on his WWI Flying Ace costume from last year, but I think he managed to pull it off!
We’re all set for Halloween around here. The neighborhood is doing an organized “Trick or Treating”, so we expect to do a lot more business that usual. As such, we’ve significantly stocked up on the Halloween goodies. Everything is in order and the only thing I have to do today is to shower and pick Brit and friends up from Youmacon. How about you guys? Any big plans tonight?

It’s the same thing every year with this guy. He just can’t say no to his sweet tooth. Jane has actually taken to buying extra candy and hiding it because as he waits by the door for the trick or treaters, he continually dips into the bucket. If she didn’t plan ahead, there would be nothing left for the kids!
So, hey, is anyone dressing up for the holiday? What as?

You’ll have to forgive the poor fellow. It’s a natural reaction. People in the Slightly Off-Topic-o-verse, are not used to seeing so many features and colors on a person. I’m sure he recovered in time to make sure the News Guy didn’t bogart all the Zagnuts. One can hope, anyway! Special thanks to Penny Arcade and PVP for the "costume inspiration".
Being a T/Th/Su comic, this is the last update prior to the holiday, so I’ll wish you a happy Halloween now…or a Blessed All Saints Festival if that is your thing. Have fun, be safe, and don’t set anything on fire in Detroit! Youmacon is this weekend, so we will be popping in to check things out. If you are an anime fan and are attending the convention, perhaps I’ll see you there. I’ll be the guy who looks like me. Brit will be a Mew Mew, Lion Magnus, someone from Persona, Tear and Sasuke. She takes her cosplay quite seriously…
