For better or worse, this poster image popped into my head as I twittered yesterday about the fact that the State of the Union address and the Apple announcement were occurring on the same day and wondered who would get the most press coverage? I mean we have a President who has got to try and rally a nation to his banner when the national mood seems to be frustrated versus Steve Jobs and his reality distortion field.
It’s going to be a blood match…

[Editor's Note: I changed Bush to McCain because while the Obama landslide was a repudiation of the Bush legacy, McCain made more sense from a narrative point of view... that and Obama hasn't exactly changed much from the Bush presidency yet, anyways...]
