Oh L’il Kim, I see you’re at it again.   I’m not sure why you get to constantly fling missles and test semi-nuclear weapons, but L’il Lee can’t play with his ships.  It seems unfair.

(For those wondering why there was no contest clue last Sunday or today, it’s because a hard drive crash ate my contest font.  I’m in the process of recreating it, and we should be back up and running next week.)

Oh, L’il Kim, you’re so silly! If you want to be a recurring character in the comic strip, you just have to ask. There’s no reason to run around shouting things and making people nervous.

Hey, if you’d be willing to leave the country for a day, The News Guy would love to do an interview. We can’t let him travel in to North Korea though because we’ve heard how you treat journalists there. But say the word and we’ll meet you in Hong Kong for noodles and a Coke.

On second thought, make that noodles and an Evian. You do not need any caffeine in your diet!

On a lighter note, it seems that Randall Munroe caught the same viewing of Wargames that I did. At least we went in totally different directions with it. Of course, his is funnier. I hate when that happens.

This is supposed to be a joke, but actually, upon reflection, it makes about as much sense as any other theory you can devise to explain the actions of North Korea lately. It’s a strange, strange world. One wonders how long Kim Jong-Mentally-Il will be able to continue to rattle his saber before something… unfortunate happens. My guess is that the North Korean military will, eventually, step in and resolve the problem long before the UN or any outside powers are forced to act. I’d also be getting mighty nervous if I were the son of Mr. Kim as if the military does have to step in, I doubt they’ll be wanting to extend a familial dynasty. Just a guess though. We could all declare a state of peace tomorrow and have a lovely tea party. One can hope, anyway.
