So another oil rig explodes in the Gulf. Yay! To be fair, I’m sure BP had nothing to do with it… mostly.
At least the rig wasn’t producing at the time. Hopefully, this means no additional leaking, but maybe the oil industry should stop using those explosive bolts during construction…
I’m just saying…
UPDATE: Okay… apparently the rig *was* producing, and there *is* a slick, but probably very containable…
I know, I know… this is supposed to be “How to Train Your Dragon — Part II”, but… they set the Gulf on fire, fer Christ’s sake!!!
I mean, if that doesn’t merit an interruption of this regular broadcast schedule, I certainly don’t know what does. And before anyone emails me berating me for mocking the Coast Guard, I’m not, okay? It’s just a whimsical alternative explanation sort of vignette.
It’s kinda sad, though, when the *best* option seems to be to set the Gulf on fire…
