So another oil rig explodes in the Gulf. Yay! To be fair, I’m sure BP had nothing to do with it… mostly.
At least the rig wasn’t producing at the time. Hopefully, this means no additional leaking, but maybe the oil industry should stop using those explosive bolts during construction…
I’m just saying…
UPDATE: Okay… apparently the rig *was* producing, and there *is* a slick, but probably very containable…
Welcome to another exciting episode of Dungeon and Dragons Theater! Today’s episode is, of course, based on The Village of Hommlet which is notable for it’s introduction of the Temple of Elemental Evil which made a much better module than computer game. This was one of few modules we played as kids that no one in the party had seen prior to the beginning of the adventure. Makes for a better game… but oh the temptation to peek between sessions…
Hey, if you would like to help with future editions of D&DT, I’m looking for 300-600 dpi scans of The Ghost Tower of the Inverness and Tomb of Horrors. If you have them in your collection, please scan and send me a copy. I’ll try and do something fun to acknowledge your help!
I’m pretty sure that this was never tried with Ixtoc… It certainly couldn’t be any worse that anything else they’ve tried, right?!?
I went to the World Steam Expo this weekend. Awesome con! I not only got to chat with Phil Foglio, one of my all time cartooning heroes, but I was also introduced to Tartanic. For those who enjoy a good pipe and drum band, these guys are worth your time to check out!
