If a cat wants to play, you will, eventually, play. I’ve written about the dangers of ignoring cats before, and believe me, it’s best to just give in to your furry Lords and Masters. Wait too long and the consequences will be dire! It’s not like it’s a big investment in time or energy. I mean, let’s face it. The only reason that cats deign to play with us is to verify that we are, indeed, still subservient to their needs. Once confirmed, they’re gone after about thirty seconds of scratching, so just play and save yourself from a midnight scratching! You’ll be glad you did.
