I know, I know. Everyone and their mother is running a Watchman-related comic, but this is, after all, a defining moment in comic-geek fandom… At least I hope it is. It’s always possible that they will screw it up, but I hope not. I want this movie to be *the* comic book movie. As true to the source material as possible… Well, they can feel free to keep Dr. Manhattan dressed if they want. I won’t complain.
We’ll see, I suppose. I know the ending has been altered in mechanism, but hopefully not in message. The moral quandary is key to this story, and it’s impossible to walk away feeling good about it, but that’s the point. To be left feeling a bit twisted, so please don’t put a Hollywood spin on it. ‘kay? Thanks.
