You may think I’m kidding, but this is a very important question. I really don’t get enough junk mail to line the cages, and the pages from the fingerhut catalog are just not absorbent enough. When the Ann Arbor News closes it’s doors in July, Joey and Moles are in for trouble. What are we going to do?
As per actually getting one’s news, I generally rely on the net. I *do* watch the CBC News out of Windsor, but that’s mostly because I consider Canadian politics a spectator sport. The Parliamentary system just makes me giggle…

The Parliamentary system makes Canadians giggle, up until we want to throttle all involved anyway.
Ah, but at least you have Rick Mercer to deliver a good rant when things get too nuts!
My mother has been stocking up on newspaper for years now (most likely for campfire kindling), but we’re covered on bird-cage liner in case the newspapers stop rolling in
A wise move. I often find myself soliciting folks at work for their throwaway paper. Fairly easy in the summer, but once the fireplaces start burning, it’s a no-go!
