So, a big step was taken today. With the US withdrawal, the Iraqis are in control of their cities. Let’s hope they can hold it together, and that the government isn’t forced to face civil war.
As per our troops… well… even with the withdrawal, they’re still slated to be there until 2012, so it’s not exactly a homecoming, but it’s a sign of things to come!
