I knew there was a reason I’ve been wearing the same rubber bracelet for over eight years… The man manages to pull off a third place position after three years out of racing! That guy is inspiration on two wheels.

There is a part of me that wanted to see him in yellow, but to quote Joey "The Lips". "That would have been predictable. This way is poetry…" It’s been interesting to watch his body change as he rides this tour. He really can’t make the quick accelerations of old, but experience kept him at the top of the game. Now that he has two grand tours under his belt and his body seems to be readjusting to life in the saddle, I’d watch out next year. He’s already said he’ll be coming back with a new American team, Team RadioShack.

I have *so* got to get one of those jerseys when they come out…

I wasn’t aware that the shack was financially solvent enough to sponsor a pro team, but apparently so, and I think that is a good thing. While the shack is not what it once was (remember when it was the go to place for electronic stuff from amateur radio stuff to tvs), this may be a sign of things to come. Time will tell.

For now, I’m just ecstatic to see Lance back in the saddle. Now why don’t you pop over to his LiveStrong site and join him in the fight against cancer?

Oh, and I made an edit to the Webcomics page. Bud and Tiffany and crew have moved to a new domain…
