As I upload this strip, I’ve got a turkey in the oven and side dishes in preparation. I’m a fan of the Alton Brown technique which has an apple shoved in the salted cavity, 500F for the first 30 minutes and then 350F until it’s done. Makes for a nice juicy bird!
I do love Thanksgiving. It’s a holiday we (or at least those of us in the States) can all get together on. It doesn’t matter what your religion (if any) is orc care about you political views. It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor. The whole gig is just to stop and take a second to think about your life and to be thankful for those people and things that make it worthwhile.
My life has always been full of blessings (through thick and thin), and I am most grateful! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, and thank you for continuing to stop by three times a week. Your always welcome here.
