So, this question actually showed up in my Formspring box because while The News Guy does have a twitter account, he does not yet use Formspring. However, after a few moments reflection, I decided that you guys would much rather have a little News Guy fanservice than three consecutive panels of me standing around in a towel.
So… yeah… I spent a good portion of my evening yesterday on the Old Spice channel on YouTube. Marketing done right can be very, very amusing…

*rolls eyes*
Why give a simple answer when you can spend a couple hours on it instead?
the real problem with the new 360 is Microsoft’s refusal to put blu ray technology in it.
gah! someone my comment meant for the LAST comic posted on THIS one…lame.
Well, that is weird to say the least, but you can understand Microsoft not wanting to put a Sony product in their machine. It would be nice to have one less box in the living room, though…
yeah I understand it. but it still means the 360 is lacking in features that eh ps3 has had since launch. Just now adding wi-fi? Can that even be considered anything BUT standard these days?
don’t get me wrong, the 360 is great, but it’s missing the point of what families are buying these consoles for. Hence why the PS3 sold out over xmas and 360 did not.
I actually have both (bit of a gamer junkie), and I do use the blu-ray player all the time. However, for gaming, I really don’t turn the ps3 on that often. I find myself almost always using the 360. Not sure why as the PS3 is, on paper, a superior console, but I just don’t enjoy using it as much. I do like the 360 controllers more, of course… but yeah… the PS3 is a multi-tasker and the 360… not so much.
I agree, I have both as well, and a Wii, and a second ps3, and a ds, and a psp…
I tend to game more on my 360, but that’s only because I want to use it, lol. And I LOVE the playstation controller, but recently I find the 360 controller more comfortable to use.
The point is I want a system that plays it all. All in one wonder.
Fan service. Excuse me while I go laughing in a different room.
You are excused.
(though, of course you realize that I use the word fanservice in jest…)
Are you sure?…cuz that red throbby looking thing laying across the bottom of the last panel…well…looks suggestive…
Dang it! You realize that once something is seen, it can NOT be unseen… Why would you do that?!?
I was thinking the same thing as the comic started to load… then realized it was the News Guy, and NOT you, Dave. *phew*
🙂
I try to spare the public those mental images…
