Broke it playing baseball at a tournament in Cinci over 4th July weekend. The cast dude was asking Taylor some geography questions to keep him occupied while applying the cast. He asked about great lakes so I threw in the “why doesn’t Indiana slide into Lake Michigan” thing. Caught cast dude completely off guard as he was initially trying to answer with some sort of weird geologic explanation. We all had a good laugh. Good to see you’re not too old to remember the classics…
it’s not that bad. at least it isn’t Grand Rapids.
(friends of my wife – who live/lived in GR – used to say, “There is no gravity in Grand Rapids… it just sucks.”)
We Indiana folk feel that way about Kentucky… keeps Indiana from sliding in to Lake Michigan…
