Greetings to you, my good readers! Frumph has us all stirred up about promoting our comics, and I’ve caught the bug. Slightly Off-Topic is rapidly approaching it’s one-year anniversary, and it’s time to bring in some new readers, but to do that, I’m going to need your help. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be having several promotions which will allow us to (hopefully) broaden our readership and allow you to score some Slightly Off-Topic Schwag. To get the ball rolling, I’d like to announce the first annual:
Slightly Off-Topic T-shirt Give-Away
As this is our first promotion, we don’t want to make things too difficult on you. As such we’re simply asking that if you enjoy reading Slightly Off-Topic, please take a few minutes to spread the word. Specifically, put something up about the strip on your blog (or other public forum) about the strip. Write a review. Share your favorite strip. Document the excessive usage of ellipses with diagrams and tables. Whatever you want, just spread the word and then send me (thenewsguy at slightlyofftopic dot com) a link to your post. On February 15th, we’ll select a random winner (using the time-honored "names in a hat" methodology) who will receive the first ever Slightly Off-Topic t-shirt to be released into the wild!
