Too many people in my life who have/have had/have died of cancer. It gets to the point where you have to find something to laugh about. And if you can’t laugh about a mammogram, what can you laugh about?!?

And really…in this day and age…with MRIs and cat scans, don’t you think that there must be a less…uhm…squishy method to look for lumps? The problem, I suspect, lies in access. Even if an MRI can do the job, there is already a long line, a really long line, waiting for access to the oh-so-expensive instrumentation. The mammogram may not be fun, but at least it’s easy access…and when you are fighting the fight against cancer, easy and early access can make all the difference.
