I will admit that I am WAY too excited about the upcoming Beatles edition of Rock Band.
It’s not that I’m the world’s biggest Beatles fan. I mean, I only own one single album… and it’s the One album, so that hardly qualifies me as a superfan. However, just perhaps due to the time I grew up, the Beatles and their tunes are just… ingrained… into my psyche… and the songs are just fun to sing along to… well… Helter Skelter isn’t necessarily fun, but you know what I mean. Perhaps they’ll follow it up with some Across the Universe downloadable tunes. What do you think?
No, probably not, but it would be cool.
I should probably get to the bottom of my feelings on this subject. Time for some introspection. Sounds right for a Sunday. Divine, even…

Hey, Jude – I Wanna Hold Your Hand so we can watch Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. Because I believe in Yesterday when we all lived in a Yellow Submarine. I get by With a Little Help From My Friends, but mostly I employ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Help! Eleanor Rigby – Ain’t She Sweet – has got a Ticket To Ride, but a ticket Can’t Buy Me Love. I’m Only Sleeping on a Hard Day’s Night.
So then you *are* a hard core Beatles fan?
coo coo ca choo!
I’m like you – I own an Anthology, and they have been the fabric of my life since I was a little girl, but I know people who live and die on the Beatles (and some who “hate” Yoko Ono) and could out-trivia me in 30 seconds flat.
I think it’s great that there’s a Beatles Rock Band game coming out – I had no idea until I checked in at Slightly Off-Topic this morning.
