Sorry for the delay. This strip took a little longer to ink and color than I was expecting.
You know, it’s hard to do a strip on a movie without spoilers, but I didn’t want to give anything away… then again you’ve probably read the book… or been told the story in exacting detail by someone else who has read the book… or pieced it together by the million different scenes offered in the preview commercials…
In any case, we have *always* taken Brittany to the midnight preview showing. It was quite a big deal when she was little, and now even though she’s older, it still has a festival atmosphere, and she goes in full regalia! You have to love something that just lets kids have fun.
I am, sadly, going to miss it, however, as due to a scheduling kerfuffle, I have tickets to The Bravery and Green Day tonight. I’ll go with a friend and the girls will go see HP. I guess that means, we’ll have to see HP again this weekend at some point, but I’m sure they won’t mind…
Wait… adults aren’t supposed to dress up for those? *decides to return Hermione costume*
Anyway, glad she added to the record-breaking midnight showing crowd, and glad you could enjoy awesome bands. Hope you both enjoyed yourselves. I love midnight showings, but I’ve only seen them for blockbusters. I’ve always wanted to attend a showing of “Rocky Horror” or the cheesetastic “Troll 2” (which I only just found out they do…).
