Well, that’s it for Atlantis. Discover and Endeavor are both scheduled for a final flight this year to refuel the ISS, but neither of those flights are certain. The plug could be pulled as easily as not. From hear on out, if we’re to send Americans in to space it will be by hitching a ride with someone else.
However, private industry is looking at space flight now. We may find ourselves back in space sooner than expected. At least I hope so…
