What I don’t understand is that Microsoft says they’ve targeted the Kinect controller towards the casual gamer.  However, in order for the casual gamer to enjoy this motion-control system, they have to plunk down $299 for a 360 plus another $149 for the Kinect controller ($448)…

…or they could just pay $199 for the Wii Sports bundle which will probably only be $149 once Kinect is released.

Now I won’t argue that the 360 isn’t a superior console to the Wii, but I can’t imagine the “casual gamer” is going to care…
