Seems like a reasonable assertion… at least at this time of year! Only one Halloween strip left to go before we move on to bigger and better things…

I was just informed (by our 8-year old) that the two pumpkins, which have been sitting on the porch for 4 days, belong to our kids, and that they’re just waiting for me to help them carve.
…why do I get informed of these things the day before Hallowe’en?
So that they are nice and freshly carved for Halloween. Brit and Laurie always want to carve to early, so you end up with a saggy Jack on Halloween, and that’s not right! Now get yee to the kitchen and grab that carving knife!
