Holy Cheese, this strip is finally done! I suspect it wouldn’t take so long to make these if I wasn’t coming up with a new drawing style each time I started a strip… you know… if I had a style…
In any case, Brittany took me on a tour of the wonderful world of fan fiction last night… she started me on My Immortal, and I think my brain actually broke when we got to the Ann Frank — Dragon Ball Z mashup… some things are just wrong!
In any case, in honor of my journey she presented me with this script… nice to have her back for a day even if our roles were reversed…

…She has quite a fitting name.
Something I just noticed about the art style: it looks nice when the character’s are facing head-on, but the side view seems a bit strange…

Yeah… the weird thing about the art style is that I used to do EVERYTHING in 3/4 profile, and was rubbish at head-on… now I’m swinging the other way. I had thought that practice was going to make perfect, but…
Crud! Just spotted an even bigger error in the intro box… fixed now…
The first blade weapon reminded me a lot of The Glaive from the movie Krull.
And oy, fanfic. *facepalm* Some of it is okay, but yikes.
It does sort of remind one of that doesn’t it?
