Well, I just figured Peta was likely to issue some sort of press release about the tragic effects of Super Bowl snacking, so I thought I’d lend a hand by putting it out for them. It’s actually based on an old WWI Red Cross poster.
Now, since the Boilermakers aren’t in the Super Bowl, I’m really just rooting for the Commercials, but if I had to pick a team, I guess I’d go for… Team Coca Cola… it’s about time they came out with a killer ad!

Chicken cheerleaders at the puppy bowl this year! I know the puppies (and kittens at half-time) are from shelters and they’re adopted out after the puppy bowl but I wonder where the chickens come from and what happens to them afterward? Wings and 7 layer chicken taco dip is my guess… You would think the prez would pardon a chicken before the superbowl…
…or at least announce a new funding initiative to develop artificial limbs for Gallus variants… I’m sure the technology would carry over successfully to frogs…
