For the record, I’ve never actually had a colonoscopy, but I imagine this is how it goes. I’m actually starting to get a bit nervous about going to the doctor… I’m approaching that age, and he’s starting to give me… a look… it’s very uncomfortable…

Well, for the real colonoscopy, after a blessed night spent almost entirely on the toilet, they generally make you comfy lying on an exam table while a nurse strokes your hair and wipes the tears away. Tax time is definitely more like your depiction.
