Yeah, yeah… I know…
Seeing as this is 2014, I was surprised when just about EVERY vaguely news-related page I page I opened on Saturday was headlined by Ms. Page’s announcement… Such things are hardly news-worthy these days, and in any other case, would have never made the comic… but let’s face it… I’m a sucker for juvenile word play, and I couldn’t resist the Pryde/Pride…. I suspect by this point it’s already been done, but I steadfastly refuse to google it because I wanted to draw Kitty.
Kitty Pryde was always one of my favorite X-Men (if you need proof, check her out in issue #139 which was heavily ripped off to which this comic is an homage and the graphic novel God Loves. Man Kills.). She has always rocked. I like to think this is not because when I started reading X-Men we were about the same age and it was easy to relate to her… I don’t want to be that guy, but Kitty and Nightcrawler were the greatest… and Wolverine… back then… before he became… whatever he is now…
Regardless… I picked up a box of 40lbs of fresh, never frozen, locally-sourced boneless, skinless chicken breasts today, and it is now time to marinate some, pack some for refrigeration and vacuum-pack the rest for freezing, so I will bid you adieu…
Oh… maybe I’ll vacuum pack some *in marinade*!!!!

Congrats on 600! 😀
Kitty is one of the best X-Men (side note: Nightcrawler is not only my favorite X-Man as well, but my third favorite superhero, right behind Spidey and Static). She even has a tiny dragon!
(By the way: this update hasn’t shown up on my RSS feed for some reason. I only wandered into it via Google+ 🙁 )
Ahmed! Mike, Mark and I were talking about you just the other day (in the “when are we likely to see him again” sort of vein). Kitty does rock and Nightcrawler and his fleet of Bamfs are awesome.
Not sure what is up with the RSS. I received the update in my RSS box. I’ll have to poke it and see what we see.
It’s showing up in my RSS now!
(Like Nightcrawler, I seem to teleport around :p …I’ll probably be at Penguicon though)
