Seriously, though, it’s actually a great costume for a CW hero… very hipster-heart throb. I am a bonafide Flash freak, so I’ll be counting the days until this launches… until then, I’ve always got John Wesley Shipp

As for CW Flash’s costume (this is the first I’ve seen of it, actually), maybe they want him to have the power to burst into flame from all the friction? A streak of fire, dashing away!

I do watch Arrow. It’s a guilty, CW-fied pleasure, but I never miss it. There is a tendency towards the melodramatic, but it is certainly fun. I can’t wait to see the suicide squad this week.
As for poor Barry… the Flash has always been protected by the ‘speed force’ so maybe he’ll have a pocket of extra-dimensional energy protecting those inner thighs… I’d need a gallon of cortisone cream!
