What I first noticed about this experiment is that at no point in the process did they let the users touch the computer. It looked like they were going to at several instances, but we only see them watching and oggling.
I have, of course, actually tried Windows Vista on several systems (both those that I upgraded and those that were purchased new with Vista), and all I can say is that I have found the experience very, very bad. The service pack was supposed to improve the experience, but mostly it has just introduced new opportunities for freezes and crashes. I’ll stick with XP for my Windows needs, thank you very much.

Apparently I got the one magically bug-free copy of Vista. It’s never crashed or bugged out, and I put my PC through hell (I overclock and customize the hell out of everything).
Now I’m not doubting that people have had problems here and there, but the way some people carry on about it you’d think it was the anti-christ.
Fair enough, but I’ve found it nothing but problematic. I’ve had it on a dual-core tablet, a dual-core desktop and a quad core and it universally runs slower than XP and LAAAAAAGGGGSSSS at the oddest times. I’ll pass, but if it’s working for you, great. It is pretty, though…
