With all the bankruptcies and shutdowns currently occurring in the airline industry, you have to wonder what about the underlying fundamental problem. Are the airlines failing due to mismanagement? Has the cost of fuel increased faster than the airlines can adjust their budgets? Have the airlines built unreal expectations of low fairs amongst consumers? What can be done to correct and reinvigorate the airline industry? Any Thoughts?
Also, on an unrelated topic, do you know the significance of April 10? More on that Tuesday!
Why not consider the train? That’s a nice, humorous touch!
Thanks. Today’s comic was supposed to be something different, but when I woke up and realized I forgot to send the comic, the image of the arrival screen popped into my head and a new comic was born.
Well, you need to make some link buttons. Until then, I’m punishing you with this!
I hadn’t thought about link buttons…good idea!
Ha! Trainfares around my part of town can be as costly, if not more so, than taking a plane. Might as well go by horse and carrige at this point.
You know, Ratchet, I’ve always wondered about that. Back when we lived in California, we thought about taking the train to visit family back in Indiana, but it was cheaper to fly or to drive. I’ve always wondered how amtrak plans to make it once government support is cut.
“once government support is cut’ ??? hahaha!
That’s good. But, where is the comic to go with it?

Oh, it’ll be along some day…
