So, it’s Super Bowl Sunday… I remain firmly indifferent to the game (though Laurie says we need to root for the Ravens), but I will remain glued to the TV for the commercials… what can I say? I like beer-swilling amphibians and bizarre automotive shorts…
Hmmm… I’m actually wondering if the comic wouldn’t have been better served if panel three was a close-up of the bowl of wings rather than a pull-back on the News Guy. Thoughts?
Either way has its plusses. The way you did it flows easier, but alternate method saves the punchline for the last panel.
Regarding the comic, I do that occasionally as well :p
(Also, not to sound rude, just some advice about the first panel: the index finger shouldn’t be longer than the middle finger…it looks really weird…)
Yeah, I was trying to make the middle finger bent to a half curl, so the index looks longest because its the only straight finger, but you are correct, it didn’t work and looks weird…
