I loved my Amiga 1000.
I keep watching ebay so that someday I will be able to find a new Sidecar 1060 (the 8088 addon) for my Amiga 1000. The 1200 is currently in pieces as I broke the pcmcia connector and need to replace it….
I had an Amigo 1000 with all the bells and whistles on it…sadly it got sold at a garage sale.
That is sad, though this isn’t my original 1000 either (sold it to upgrade to a 500 with a Bodega Bay Attachment back in the day). At it’s peak, had two Starboard II’s and the 1060 (with a 10(!) Meg hard drive). I had to cut the center support out of my desk hutch to allow the thing to scroll all the way across…
