It’s important as a parent to be sensitive to the needs of your children, and if they don’t want people knowing about their birthday, it’s probably best to respect that!

As per the ever falling dollar, I received an interesting bit of spam last night. It’s central theme seemed to be that Americans should stop whining about the cost of gas. Just because the cost of gas has increased a dollar per gallon in the last year is no need to get upset. After all, this only represents a $600 extra expenditure per year for the average driver. Of course, this also disregards the fact that last year’s gas prices were about a dollar higher than the previous year which was about a dollar higher than the previous year.

In that same helpful vein, I’d like to remind you that the falling value of the dollar only effects you if you actually spend them. If you all just hang on to them, the dollar will (eventually) rebound, and you’ll have realized a profit over the current inflation. So come on, quit whining and do your part. Surely you can go a few years without all those luxuries…you know…like food, clothing, shelter and stuff…
