I certainly hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween. Ours was spent without Brittany for the first time as she had a convention to attend, but we did our best to keep it traditional… pumpkins, a bucket of candy for the kids and Guild Wars… always Guild Wars!
Listen, if you would like to do me a favor, you could pop over to Webcomic Planet and vote for me in the Web Comic Reader’s Choice Awards. I’ve been nominated in the category of Author Congeniality. I do try to make Slightly Off-Topic a friendly place to visit, so if you wouldn’t mind, click on over and cast that vote (if you don’t already have one, you will need to register an account to vote… it’s pretty painless, I assure you).
Since it’s Sunday, I should also mention that Kez is looking for your vote in the Design category. Maybe you should visit her site and vote for her too…
I loved the strip! Were you really Snoopy, or was it a chance to make a Charles Schultz joke? Are you married to a redhead, too, or am I mixing too much fiction w/reality?
*puffs out chest* I voted. Some of the categories felt like Sophie’s Choice… (okay, that’s a bit over the top, but you know what I mean…)
I do know what you mean about the voting. I actually had Laurie split the vote for me on a couple so that I could get *both* people I wanted to win a vote!… and no… she doesn’t have red hair. She has lovely brunette locks.
And I didn’t actually dress up this year. I had no plans to leave the house, so I just carved pumpkins, handed out candy and played with the misses (Brit was at Youmacon). It was fun though… shame there weren’t many trick or treaters this year though. I wonder how long this tradition is going to last. It seems to fade a little bit more every year.
Oh… and the Snoopy thing. It’s probably too early to call it a tradition as this is only our second halloween, but the News Guy always explores other strips on Halloween… and Snoopy, that is tradition!
